Business Skills & Fujitsu’s Graduate Scheme

Fujitsu’s graduate scheme provided two years of support and training alongside my daily role and helped better my business and personal skills. Learning groups were established for this period allowing the opportunity to reinforce and discuss our progress by participating in group tasks and open forum discussion.

Courses were held on a regular basis and covered a wide spectrum of personal development and commercial awareness aiding the effective and efficient use of time and resource. Topics included:

• Personal & Team Effectiveness
  This aided my awareness of actions and influence in business situations and importantly my ability to ask the right questions.
• Project & Time Management
• Customer Awareness, Commercial Awareness and Financial Market Insights
• Presentation Workshop
  Following this workshop I successfully presented to around 20 Fujitsu EMEA representatives of Fujitsu externally facing websites and provided specialised web content management training.
• Development Centre
  Allowing me to assess my own development to improve and strengthen my abilities.
• Value Creation, Value Positioning and Owning Your Career

IT Skills

• Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, Visio, Publisher) and Internet browsing tools.
• Experienced in Macromedia Flash development, Macromedia Fireworks and DreamWeaver.
• Background in many programming and database languages and applications, such as Visual C++, HTML, PHP, Java and MySQL.
